It feels good to be back! Even if I am still not totally in shape and haven't skied much yet, I am finally having a better feeling on my skis. I travelled to Canada to take part in my first World Cup of the season and was glad to get back on the podium with a 2nd place finish. Skiing at COP felt special, as they held the Winter Olympic Games here in 1988. There is something magic about it, something in the air that is just hard to describe... Outside of Park City, there are not many places where I skied that have this sport history and I loved it! Being a month away from the Olympic Games, I felt this special spirit and got really inspired for Sochi! It was also awesome to stay in a city while doing a ski competition. We had lots of fun, ending 2013 and starting 2014 in Canada, my favorite country! Thanks Calgary for the good times, a great way to start the new year!!!
